As a Senior Project Manager, you will guide the full lifecycle of healthcare design, commissioning, sustainability, or engineering/construction projects—from proposal through closeout. You’ll be the connective thread that ensures every project delivers a Superior Client Experience, fosters strong colleague engagement, and meets financial sustainability goals. SUMMARY The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the full life cycle (proposal-initiation-execution/control-closeout) of design engineering, commissioning, energy optimization, sustainability, or engineering/construction projects within the Healthcare Practice.
This position is responsible for the complete project success including maintaining a Superior Client Experience, a high level of colleague engagement / collaboration, and achievement of Financial Sustainability targets. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for client focused communication and outreach, understanding and communication of the project scope to both the client and colleagues, establishing the Client’s Guiding Principles for the project, project schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, resource planning
Requirements
, and risk management elements required to optimize client service, quality, and fiscal responsibility. Based out of the Cleveland office, this position has responsibility for managing medium to large-sized projects with a fee for services exceeding $500,000 requiring, typically, support from multiple Practices or Service Sectors. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager has an increased role in client management and business development focusing on expanding our relationships with new and existing clients.

This includes proactively identifying and resolving issues to maintain accuracy, consistency, and technical excellence. Establishes client – HEAPY – architect - construction manager liaison network to keep all interested parties informed of project communication, planning, schedule, and work progress. Collaborates with the Practice Director, Operations Manager, and practice design managers to form a project work team as appropriate and sees that
RESPONSIBILITIES
Guides HEAPY service delivery to ensure consistency with the appropriate service operating procedures and identified milestones. Oversees project execution with a strategic focus on profitability, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost control, and streamlined workflows. Participates in project costing and bid/proposal preparation to the extent required.
Assumes a pivotal role in identifying and pursuing opportunities to expand HEAPY service offerings within existing accounts and across all verticals of the business. Drives project quality by ensuring deliverables meet HEAPY standards, client expectations, and all regulatory
