User guide
For recruiters and hiring managers working in Zoho Recruit. Once an administrator has installed and configured the extension, this is what it does for you — and where to look.
Last updated 22 August 2026
What the extension does
JobMinglr matches job seekers to your open roles and delivers the ones who apply straight into Zoho Recruit. The extension keeps two things in sync, both automatically:
- Your openings go out. When you create a Job Opening — or change its status — the extension sends that opening to JobMinglr so it can be matched against candidates.
- Matched candidates come in. On a schedule your administrator sets, the extension pulls candidates who applied through JobMinglr and creates them as Candidates in Recruit, associated to the exact opening they applied to.
Zoho Recruit stays your system of record. Nothing in your account is edited or deleted by the extension, and no custom fields are added.
This extension is for Zoho Recruit Enterprise
Where to find it
- The JobMinglr panel lives in Recruit under
Setup→Marketplace→All→ JobMinglr. It shows whether the connection to JobMinglr is healthy and lets you preview the applicants waiting to be pulled. - Delivered candidates appear in your normal Candidates module. Filter or build a view on
Source = JobMinglrto see only these. - On a Job Opening, its JobMinglr applicants show under the opening's associated candidates, each with the note Applied via JobMinglr.
What a delivered candidate looks like
Candidates arrive in Recruit's own standard fields — nothing custom, so every view, filter and report you already have works on them:
| Zoho Recruit field | What JobMinglr puts in it |
|---|---|
| First_Name / Last_Name | The candidate's name |
| Verified email address on their JobMinglr profile | |
| Phone / Mobile | Contact number, where the candidate has provided one |
| Experience_in_Years | Total years of professional experience |
| Current_Employer | Where they work now |
| Current_Job_Title | Their current role title |
| Skill_Set | Their skills, as a comma-separated list Recruit can search |
| Source | Always JobMinglr, so you can filter your pipeline by it |
| Origin | Always Applied — these are candidates who chose to apply to your role |
Each candidate is then associated to the Job Opening they applied to, so your pipeline stays organised by role rather than as a flat list of inbound applicants.
Your day-to-day
- Post a role as you always do. Create the Job Opening in Recruit. No extra step — the extension picks it up on save.
- Keep the status current.Changing a Job Opening's status re-sends it, so closing a role stops new candidates for it.
- Review candidates in Recruit. Work them through your pipeline stages exactly like any other applicant.
- Status moves keep the applicant informed. When you advance or reject a JobMinglr candidate, JobMinglr tells the job seeker where they stand — so you field fewer “any update?” emails.
What the extension never does
- It does not read or write any module other than Job Openings (read) and Candidates (create + associate).
- It does not modify or delete existing records, including candidates it created earlier.
- It does not create custom fields, layouts or modules in your account.
- It does not touch billing, users, payroll or any other Zoho service.
Frequency and volume
Candidates are pulled on the interval your administrator configured for the scheduled function (15 minutes is the recommended default), and only candidates who have actually applied to one of your openings are ever delivered. JobMinglr does not push speculative or unmatched profiles into your pipeline.
Nothing arriving yet?
Turning it off
Ask your administrator to pause the scheduled function to stop deliveries, or to uninstall the extension and delete the JobMinglr connection to end the integration entirely. Either way, every candidate already delivered stays in your Recruit account — they are your records.
