A more accessible way to find and apply for work.
Ally is a proposed voice and text assistant built on JobMinglr — designed with disabled job seekers in mind, for anyone who hits a wall in complex websites and application forms.
Proposed feature — not yet launched.
What Ally would do
Three steps, start to finish — each one reviewed by the job seeker before it counts.
Build a profile by speaking or typing
Capture your skills, experience, and work preferences through conversation — then review and edit the structured profile before anything is saved.
Find jobs that fit how you work
See why a role may fit your skills and stated preferences, in plain language — and what the posting doesn’t tell you, instead of guessing.
Prepare and review an application
Draft answers, flag the questions still unanswered, and approve the application yourself before it’s sent through a supported workflow.
Built on what already works
JobMinglr’s job board, profiles, matching, application workflows, and supported recruiting integrations are live today. Ally would add a conversational way to use that foundation — not a new platform to rebuild.
Live on JobMinglr today
- Job board and seeker profiles
- Weighted job matching
- Application workflows
- Supported recruiting / ATS integrations
- Private Work Style preferences
What Ally would add
- Voice and text profile building
- Plain-language explanations of job fit
- Guided application drafting and review
- Explicit approve-before-send control
- Clear delivery status and next steps
Your work preferences stay private and are never shown to employers. You decide what gets submitted — nothing is sent without your approval.
Accessibility is the design requirement
Not a compliance checkbox at the end. These are the rules Ally would be built and tested against.
Built for keyboard and assistive tech
Full keyboard and assistive-technology use alongside voice and text — not one input bolted onto a mouse-first design.
Private by default, yours to control
Work preferences stay private and are never shown to employers. Generated content is editable, and nothing is submitted without your approval.
Honest about what a match means
A match score is never treated as proof that a workplace meets your accessibility needs. Ally flags what a posting leaves out rather than inferring it.
A staged path to launch
We plan to start with a web pilot covering profile creation and selected application workflows, co-designed and tested with disabled job seekers. It would expand to more workflows and to mobile only after pilot findings, a privacy review, and accessibility testing.
