Now operating in Missouri, South Carolina, and Virginia, Concordance is a national leader in compassionate, innovative reentry care. Position Overview: The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of Concordance’s participants, team members, and facilities. In this role, you will interact with our participants, team members, and visitors and work with a team of Security Officers.
Key Responsibilities
: Protecting the Concordance’s property and team members by conducting interior and exterior rounds, observing for safety and security issues or theft, and monitoring of parking lots Completing random drug screens of participants Monitoring entry to the Concordance Center, including bag searches and security systems Monitoring video surveillance equipment Responding to overhead pages and requests for assistance Writing reports on irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences Enforcing security policies and procedures Collaborating with Concordance team members to ensure the safety and security of Concordance’s participants, team members, and facilities Occasionally, help set up for Center events or move classrooms around, including but not limited to carrying and setting up tables and chairs.
