Job Summary: This position will focus on consumables for our pumping products including valves & seats, packing, seals, pistons, liners, and other high volume frequently replaced components. The consumables development engineer will design, develop innovative pump consumable products and technology solutions that deliver superior performance to the oil and gas industry.
They will oversee end-to-end management of product development and improvement projects, from their initial stages to completion. This includes cross-functional collaboration and project execution with various teams across the organization and our customer teams.

: None Job Summary: At GDEP, the Development Engineer plays a critical role in researching, developing, sustaining, and troubleshooting high-performance pump assemblies and components for an industry-leading company. This role requires applying sound engineering principles to drive innovation and ensure product reliability in severe-duty applications. The Development Engineer will take ownership of the full technical product development cycle—from concept generation through product launch—while providing technical support to customers and manufacturing teams.
Success in this role requires collaborative problem-solving , cross-functional teamwork , and a commitment to delivering robust, high-quality products that meet the toughest demands.

: Product and Technology Innovation: Execute R&D activities to identify new technologies, materials, and design techniques that can be used to develop innovative new products for the oil and gas industry. Tasks include research, ideation and concept development, prototype development and testing, data analysis, and final product development.
Key Responsibilities
: Research, design, and develop advanced pump assemblies and components. Lead engineering efforts from concept through product launch Troubleshoot and sustain existing products to enhance performance and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and customer support, to provide technical expertise and support project goals.
Ensure all designs meet performance, quality, and durability standards for severe-duty applications.
