What does a Primary Producer AI do at WPP Production? We are seeking a highly accomplished Primary Producer to lead the planning, management and delivery of complex primary production projects across our clients. This role will provide support to internal network, agency teams and clients to ensure work is delivered to the highest creative and technical standards.

You will be responsible for shaping workflows, building schedules, managing budgets, aligning specialist teams and ensuring the successful delivery of work across a broad range of formats, channels and content needs. You will play a critical role in connecting creative ambition with operational excellence - helping teams produce outstanding work while maintaining clarity, control and confidence throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day primary production management of complex projects across our business, from brief through to final delivery, ensuring work is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest standard. Build and manage detailed primary production schedules, workflows, scopes and resourcing plans across editorial, design, motion, VFX, CGI, AI, grading, audio, finishing and versioning.

Requirements

Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, agency teams, clients and specialist primary production talent, maintaining clear communication throughout the lifecycle of each project. Work closely with broader local studio operation to coordinate the right talent, capabilities and workflows across projects of varying scale and complexity. Take confident ownership of primary production budgets, estimates, reconciliations and financial tracking, ensuring transparency, control and commercial discipline at every stage.
