POSITION PURPOSE: This position involves a critical role in ensuring patient safety, optimizing surgical outcomes, and facilitating communication between healthcare providers. Assure expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care for patients and families is expected.

Collaborate with providers, staff and other members of the team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. This position requires on-site presence. This position is PRN or as needed.

Eligible for a 16% PRN Differential. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Conduct a comprehensive pre-operative assessment, including medical history, allergies, current medications, and previous surgical experiences. , diabetes, heart disease) that may affect the surgery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

: Experience: One year clinical experience required. License(s): Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado or from a valid compact state required. Certification(s): Basic Life Support ( BLS ) required.

Education: Minimum of Associate Nursing Degree for positions hired after 07/01/2018.
