Assistant Community Manager Location: On-site | Harlem Reports to: Community Manager Salary: The US base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000-$75,000 plus discretionary bonus About Twin Pines Management Twin Pines is a fast-growing, full-service property management firm redefining multifamily living across New York City from market-rate communities to large-scale affordable housing portfolios. We operate some of the city's most complex and impactful assets, that have helped shape neighborhoods. We partner with sophisticated owners and institutions, giving our professionals exposure to high-level strategy while staying close to the day-to-day operations that drive real results. The Rangel campus is a diverse residential community comprising of 984 units spread across 8 buildings, all of which are fourteen-story high-rise elevator buildings, each equipped with two elevators. A day-care, senior center, community center and storage are attached to Building 8.
Building 6 contains one community 5,502 sq ft community space that is currently vacant. The property also includes 226 surface parking spaces, one outdoor refuse collection area, three children's play areas, and open paved and landscaped spaces. Four commercial spaces are also attached to one of the high-rise buildings.
This site will be undergoing substantial rehabilitation under the NYCHA PACT Program including renovations to the grounds, substantial elevator rehabilitation, and each individual apartment receiving full remediation and renovation.
Responsibilities
Overview The Assistant Community Manager plays a key role in supporting the daily operations, resident experience, and financial health of an Affordable, Project-based Section 8, and LIHTC community. This position partners closely with the Community Manager to ensure leasing, resident communication, rent collections, and administrative processes run smoothly and consistently. You'll be a visible, trusted presence for residents and an operational anchor for the on-site team—helping keep the property organized, responsive, and market-ready.
