US Payroll Associate Location: New York, NY | Team: Finance Job Summary The Verition Finance team is seeking a US Payroll Associate to own and manage payroll operations for our US entities. This role will be based in New York and will be primarily responsible for the US payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and an excellent employee experience across all US locations.

Execute and manage end-to-end payroll processing for all US entities and jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.

Develop and maintain employee self-service resources and proactive communications, while managing payroll-related queries across multiple channels to deliver excellent employee experience. Establish and continuously improve payroll processes, controls, and audit practices to enhance accuracy, scalability, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Support the onboarding of new office locations into payroll platforms and processes. Assist with internal and external payroll audits across jurisdictions. Collaborate closely with the payroll team to maintain consistent global payroll standards and share best practices.
Key Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Advanced Excel skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong work ethic with the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding, detail-oriented environment.
Confident in liaising with employees, HR partners, and senior management. Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and external advisors. Required Education & Experience Experience using Workday Payroll.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 8 years of relevant payroll experience, with significant hands-on experience running US payroll.
