The Role We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Financial Reporting Analyst to play a key role in strengthening the organization’s financial reporting and planning capabilities. This position will be responsible for preparing and enhancing internal and external financial reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and driving improvements in reporting and accounting processes that increase efficiency, accuracy, and business insight.

This is a hybrid opportunity in Phoenix. What you will accomplish Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports for leadership and business stakeholders. Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for external financial reporting, including audited financial statements, lender reporting, regulatory reporting, and other required disclosures.
Requirements
Analyze financial results and prepare commentary for budget-to-actual, forecast-to-actual, and period-over-period variances. Assist in the preparation of management reporting packages and presentation materials for leadership. Budgeting & Forecasting Support the annual budgeting process, including preparation of templates, consolidation of submissions, and analysis of budget assumptions.
Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly forecasts, working with business partners to update assumptions and identify financial impacts. Analyze budget and forecast variances and provide insights into performance trends. Assist with financial modeling and scenario analysis to support planning activities.
Monitor organizational financial performance against budget and forecast expectations. Financial Analysis & Business Support Provide meaningful analysis of financial and operational data to support executive decision-making. Partner cross-functionally with business leaders to evaluate performance metrics and recommend actionable insights.
Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, finance committees, or the board as needed. Process Improvement & Controls Identify and support improvements to financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting processes. Strengthen and maintain internal controls related to reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Develop and document procedures for key reporting and planning activities.
