Register members are expected to be available to travel and work internationally at short notice, typically for deployments of around 6 weeks, although longer availability would be highly desirable. Our ideal candidates will be fully licensed and experienced Paediatric Infectious Diseases Medical Doctors with the clinical expertise required to support the management of infectious diseases affecting children in complex humanitarian settings. This may include providing specialist clinical care, supporting outbreak preparedness and response activities, advising on infection prevention and control measures, contributing to clinical protocols and guidelines, and working alongside local healthcare teams to strengthen paediatric infectious disease management.
