As a RTR Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the financial and accounting integration of newly acquired entities into Sony Music. Responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, alignment with corporate accounting policies, and seamless migration of financial data, processes, and systems (including migration to SAP S/4HANA). Performing key reconciliations between the local accounting system’s trial balance and the US IFRS trial balance.
This role requires deep accounting expertise with strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge and project management capabilities.
What You'Ll Do
: Accounting & Financial Reporting Post purchase accounting entries and Opening Balance sheet in line with the global process and Global Finance instructions Support accurate and timely financial reporting during transition phase Ensure balances are correctly loaded from the local ERP system to SAP and to the consolidation system in alignment with the group accounting policy and reporting
Requirements
Reconcile the balances between the local ERP system and SAP ensuring no material differences Reconcile and track differences between local GAAP and IFRS ERP & Systems Integration Support migration of newly acquired entities into SAP S/4HANA Coordinate system configuration, testing, and validation activities Execute integration project plans covering accounting, reporting, controls, and systems Oversee financial data migration (GL, AP, AR, FA, leases) ensuring completeness and accuracy Manage multiple concurrent integration projects and timelines working with cross-functional teams (Local Finance, GFSS, IT) Communicate progress, risks, and issues to senior stakeholders
Who You Are
: Bachelor’s degree in accounting Minimum 8 years’ experience in a multinational environment with solid accounting expertise. Proficient in SAP S/4HANA and MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience in post-acquisition/ post-merger integration, or finance transformation Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities High level of English proficiency: written, verbal, and reading.
