What You’Ll Do
At Scout Motors , you don't just design vehicles- you shape the future of the road. Our Engineering team is where bold ideas meet rigorous execution, building machines that are as durable and capable as the people who drive them. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with brilliant minds across disciplines, turning complex challenges into elegant, scalable solutions that meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and user experience.
This is a place where your fingerprints are found on metal – where what you design gets built, driven, and remembered. If you're hungry to engineer something that matters, Scout Motors is where that ambition finds its highest gear. We are seeking a highly technical Lead Engineer – Secondary ECU Release Engineering, CI/CD Validation & Artifact Management to own end-to-end software delivery for distributed ECU systems in next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms.
This role spans build systems, binary generation, calibration artifacts, CI/CD validation, and vehicle-level release integration for secondary ECUs across zonal and centralized SDV architectures. You will ensure that every ECU software package—including firmware, calibration data, configuration artifacts, and diagnostics content—is correctly built, validated, versioned, and vehicle-ready. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in embedded release engineering, CI/CD-driven validation, calibration management, and automotive software lifecycle governance in complex EV/SDV environments.
Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following: Own the full lifecycle of secondary ECU software releases from source code to vehicle deployment. Coordinate multi-ECU release synchronization across body, energy, drive support, infotainment, connectivity, and gateway domains. Define ECU release baselines, versioning strategy, and software configuration management across SDV platforms.
Ensure alignment between ECU software versions, calibration sets, vehicle configurations, and system-level dependencies. Own ECU build pipelines and binary generation workflows for embedded software systems. Ensure deterministic, reproducible builds across ECU variants, hardware revisions, and vehicle programs.
