Role Summary The People Operations & Learning Design Specialist is an individual contributor role on the People Team that sits at the intersection of HR technology, learning, and project management. This person administers our HRIS (UKG and other HR systems), owns and administers our Learning Management System, designs and builds engaging training for staff, interns, and provider partner organizations, and drives project management for People Team initiatives from planning through execution.
This role requires a systems-minded, detail-oriented builder who is equally comfortable configuring a workflow in UKG, designing an e-learning module, and keeping a cross-functional project on track.
Key Responsibilities
HR Systems Administration Serve as the primary administrator for UKG and other core HR systems, owning configuration, workflows, permissions, and data integrity. Manage employee data changes, integrations, and system updates in partnership with People Team and IT stakeholders. Troubleshoot system issues, manage vendor support tickets, and evaluate new modules, features, or tools to improve HR systems.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to support People Team and business decision-making.
Requirements
Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Manage the day-to-day administration of the organization’s LMS, including user provisioning, course assignments, completions tracking, and reporting. Maintain LMS content architecture, learning paths, and catalog organization so learners can easily find and complete required training. Troubleshoot LMS issues for end users and escalate vendor issues as needed.
Evaluate and recommend LMS enhancements, integrations, and features, including exploring Salesforce-integrated LMS capabilities. Instructional Design Work across departments with subject matter experts to build training programs and resources appropriate for audiences with varying levels of experience, including virtual instruction, interactive on-demand learning, videos, documents, knowledge checks, and other job aids. Transform raw content into informative and engaging learning experiences.
Design and develop interactive and engaging training for clinical and non-clinical staff, interns, and provider partner organizations. Adapt existing instructor-led training materials for asynchronous delivery in the LMS. Develop performance indicators to evaluate the efficacy of training programs and materials, and assist with evaluation strategies.
Update existing training materials as needed to align with changes in the organization’s systems, technology, processes, and policies. Look for new ways to facilitate learning across a fully remote workforce. People Team Project Management Own project management for People Team initiatives, including building project plans, timelines, and tracking tools, and driving work to completion.
Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders across People Team, IT, and business leaders to keep systems, LMS, and training projects on schedule.
