The Role You'll Play You’ll help build and evolve the frontend experiences that power Playlist, partnering closely with Product, Design, and QA to take ideas from concept to production in a way that’s reliable, performant, accessible, and grounded in real customer needs. You’ll also operate at the edge of what’s possible by leveraging AI (LLMs and agentic tooling) to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and push product capabilities forward.

What We'Re Looking For

js Experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs (schema-driven development, client caching, pagination patterns) Expert-level debugging skills; comfortable using browser DevTools in and out (performance, memory, network, tracing) Strong knowledge of modern frontend build, bundling, and packaging (Vite/Webpack, Babel/SWC, code-splitting, tree-shaking, npm/pnpm/yarn) Solid engineering judgement and understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies AI-native builder mindset with strong judgment; understanding of AI tooling such as MCPs, evals, RAG are good to have Strong communication and collaboration across functions Tools and Systems This role is primarily frontend-focused, with opportunities to collaborate across the broader product stack. You do not need to have used every tool here, but you should be comfortable learning new technologies and choosing the right approach for the problem.
