Overview: The Senior Construction Project Manager supporting Otterbein SeniorLife Construction Projects reports to the Vice President of Properties and Construction. In this exciting and hands-on role, you will initially have an opportunity to oversee certain projects with a degree of independence while growing into leading larger projects on a broader scale. This learning and growth in responsibility will include Master Planning through Concept Design, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction administration, Quality Control and Project Closeout.

You will be engaged in new construction and major renovations, including procurement of Architectural and Engineering services, Construction Management firms and Otterbein held contractors and consultants. You will learn to manage construction progress updates, monitor cost, manage schedules and do project reporting. Some travel to project worksites and regional team meetings throughout Ohio and Indiana may be involved.

Qualifications

Develop Budgeting and cost estimating; perform takeoffs - engage General Contractors as necessary for cost and scheduling input Master Schedule Development Develop request for proposals (RFP) Develop knowledge of local building codes, zoning ordinances, rules, regulations and jurisdictional

Prepare zoning and building permit submissions and procurement.

Requirements

: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field Minimum 5-10 years of related experience Working knowledge of construction techniques and building materials; ability to read construction drawings and specifications. Possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
