Industrial Abrasive Blaster Company: Loenbro, LLC Location: Chandler, AZ (Riggs Fabrication Shop) Employment Type: Full-Time FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Industrial Abrasive Blaster to join our coatings team at our Chandler fabrication facility. This is a hands-on production role supporting structural steel fabrication and coatings operations. You will be responsible for preparing steel — beams, plates, pipe, tanks, and fabricated assemblies — to specified surface profile standards prior to coating application.

Responsibilities

Operate pressure blast equipment to clean and profile structural steel and fabricated assemblies to SSPC/NACE surface preparation standards (SP-6, SP-10, SP-5) Read and interpret work orders, drawings, coating specifications, and inspection

Requirements

to determine correct blast profile and anchor pattern Inspect surfaces prior to blasting and after for mill scale, rust, weld spatter, and contaminants; communicate deficiencies to the lead or QC.

Minimum Qualifications

Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial abrasive blasting, preferably in structural steel fabrication or industrial coatings. Experience blasting concrete is a plus.
