Meet the team: The Platform Systems, Integration, and Test Team at Latitude is responsible for the design, integration, and testing of all interface functions between the self-driving technology and vehicle platform.

These functions include motion control, fault handling, and controls integration, along with the overall vehicle architecture. We specialize in parallelized development of prototype functionality and production designs, enabling all of Latitude to rapidly develop feature intent functionality without incurring significant technical debt.

What You’Ll Do

for the diagnostic system and validation strategies Work closely with the software development teams at both Latitude and Ford in creating designs Work closely with the Integration and Test team at Latitude to develop and execute the Design Verification Plan on benches, simulators, and vehicles Periodically get hands-on with the product and see the designs in action What you'll need to succeed: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field and 4+ years of relevant experience (or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or PhD) At least 4+ years of experience working in either automotive or robotics engineering, or a related field Experience writing
