The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a Technical Buyer.
Requirements
At project buying level, the Technical Buyer will support the creation of the procurement plan, to deliver optimised buying strategies. You’ll be supported with personalised on the job training, coaching, mentoring and twice-yearly development and performance reviews to help maintain & develop your contributions and competence.
, identifying potential suppliers based on capability, reputation, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Provide the necessary support and guidance to meet stakeholder and project
Ensure procurement processes conform with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 frameworks Manage supplier progress reports, ensuring reports are fully populated and received on time, providing the Projects and Finance teams with accurate updates to aid POC progress (% on completion) throughout and at month end.
. Understanding of EN standards related to fabricated structures (EN1090) Experience of project related procurement documentation
, such as MRB, ITP etc.
Responsibilities
can be found in the Role Profile. NVQ L3 in relevant field L3 CIPS, or working towards Extensive procurement experience in construction and/or fast-paced heavy engineering/process sectors. Experience with cost reduction without compromising on quality or service.
