Impulse Space — Redondo Beach, California
As an Avionics Electrical Engineer , you will design and test custom circuit boards and other avionics devices that power Electra, our electric propulsion system. You will work directly with software engineers, propulsion engineers, GNC engineers, and others. You will contribute to all aspects of spacecraft electronics development, from designing new circuit boards to testing, debugging, integrating onto space vehicles, and operating in space.
Requirements
Partner with firmware, software, mechanical, manufacturing, propulsion, and test teams Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Proficiency with electronic component selection, analysis, simulation, schematics, and layout Knowledge of analog and power circuit design including analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, op-amps, filtering, power and signal integrity, etc.
Compensation
bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
