As a Resident Engineer, you will take ownership of projects from start to finish.

Interpret and be able to read and understand design and specifications of aspects related to highways, freeways, interchanges, streets, intersections, and multiuse trails Oversee and lead roadway construction projects and perform various tasks associated with construction management Including the following: working with contractors to identify design issues, field design changes, verify measurements of quantities and pay applications, RFI’s, Project schedule, review and accept submittals for material certifications. Also includes working closely with field inspectors to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

Experience working on multidisciplinary project teams Solid background in AASHTO roadway geometric design criteria Proficiency using Autodesk and/or Bentley civil design software preferred Drainage design and/or traffic engineering experience is preferred Solid written and oral communication skills Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with MS Office applications A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project assignment At Horrocks, you can expect a competitive base salary and award-winning
