Associate, Venue Infrastructure Delivery The VNI (Venues and Infrastructure) team plays a critical role in delivering competition and non-competition venues that are functional, innovative, and accessible for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. As part of the larger Sport and Games Delivery group, the VNI team ensures that all venues are designed and developed with the highest standards for functionality, sustainability, and inclusion. Reporting to the Sr Manager, Venue Infrastructure Delivery, the Associate, Venue Infrastructure Delivery will support the planning and coordination of venue design subfunctions within a group of venues.
This role will focus on team support, monitoring project timelines and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent project management skills and an organized and efficient work product. This position is hourly non-exempt.
Key Responsibilities

into venue design processes Assist in preparing materials and coordinating venue-specific workshops with internal and external stakeholders Track action items, deliverables, and follow-ups to support timely project execution Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with key FAs, including Event Management, Operational Departments, and Sport, to ensure cohesive planning and delivery of venue infrastructure Support problem-solving efforts related to venue planning and execution Manage functional area requests and outputs across the Venue Development team Support reporting processes, including preparation of presentations, updates, and documentation for leadership and stakeholders Background &
Requirements
: Minimum 2+years of relevant experience. Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Event Management, or related field or equivalent work experience Familiarity with sports and major event planning preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools advantageous. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information effectively. Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
