About The Role
Schumacher & Co. We’relooking for a detail-oriented Data Management Intern to support the data cleanup, entry, and validation work critical to a successful launch. This is a hands-on role with real impact — you’ll be working directly with our product, portfolio development and technology teams on a high-visibility and impact initiative .
You’ll report to the Product Management Team and partner closely with the PIM project lead throughout the engagement. By the end of six months, your goal is a measurable improvement in attribute completeness and accuracy across the catalog, supported by a documented, repeatable process the team can carry forward.
What You’Ll Do
Clean, standardize, and enrich product attributes in our PIM system across a catalog of 20,000+ SKUs spanning Fabric, Wallcovering, Trim, and Furniture, efficiently using batch tools and lookups to work efficiently at scale.
What We’Re Looking For
Strong Excel / spreadsheet skills — comfortable working with large, structured datasets and confident with lookups (VLookup / XLookup), pivot tables, filtering, and deduplication Exceptional attention to detail and genuine ownership and accountability for data accuracy Ability to follow detailed process documentation and flag exceptions clearly A pattern-spotter who notices when a rule is producing bad output and proposes a better approach A self-starter who has good judgement about when to decide independently versus when to escalate Strong intuition for what to batch-fix versus what needs a human eye, sustaining precision at volume Enthusiasm for using AI tools to accelerate and improve repetitive data work Clear, professional written communication Interest in product data, eCommerce, or digital operations Nice t
