The ideal candidate for the position is someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast paced environment with broad discretion to solve problems. Requires experience managing Department of War and commercial contracts from proposal, through negotiation and administration, to close-out. In this role, you will work closely with a talented compliance team, reporting to Director of Contracts and part of the Legal team.
Responsibilities
: Negotiate nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) on behalf of the company and ensure ongoing compliance with all confidentiality obligations. Safeguard company intellectual property by ensuring appropriate IP and data‑rights terms in government and prime‑contractor contracts; provide guidance on correct data‑rights markings, required invention disclosures, and patent‑filing timelines to preserve maximum patent rights. Maintain the company’s agreement repository and dashboard and manage contract‑request workflows through the contract lifecycle management (CLM) system.
Enter executed contracts and sales orders into Oracle ERP system accurately and in accordance with internal procedures. Oversee the full contract lifecycle—from proposal development and flow‑down review through contract execution, invoicing, and final closeout.
Requirements
, including applicable laws and regulations, delivery schedules, payment terms, funding changes, time extensions, and government‑property obligations. Assist in negotiating agreements and terms and conditions across a wide range of company contracts, including those with customers, suppliers, consultants, and service providers. Collaborate with the proposal team to prepare, review, and deliver complete, accurate, and compliant proposals.
Develop, implement, and maintain contracting policies, procedures, and process improvements to support compliant and efficient contract management.
