Position Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you are responsible for driving the design, development, and scalability of our Third Party Risk Management (SaaS) platform built on Laravel (PHP). You play a key role in building new features and complex product capabilities, while ensuring high standards in performance, reliability, security, and maintainability. In this role, you’ll lead by example, owning services end-to-end from development to deployment and monitoring, driving architectural discussions, and mentoring others across the team.

You’ll combine hands-on development with technical leadership; contributing to architectural direction, mentoring engineers, and continuously improving engineering practices. Key Responsibilities

: Design and own secure, scalable services within our Laravel applications, guiding technical decisions and evaluating trade-offs (including AI- driven components) to meet reliability, performance, and cost goals Leverage AI tools to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and prototyping, while rigorously validating outputs to ensure quality and safety Advise on appropriate AI use (model concepts, prompt patterns, ethical/privacy considerations), embed monitoring and compliance checks into workflows, and document residual risks and mitigations Coach peers on engineering best practices and AI-augmented approaches; partner with Product, Security, DevOps, and other teams to align on features, deployment, and compliance.
