Why We Need You The Museum of Science is seeking an experienced event professional to serve as the onsite operational leader for our corporate, nonprofit, social, and institutional events.
As a Part-Time Event Supervisor, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, overseeing event execution, managing staff and vendors, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, safety, and operational excellence. This position is ideal for a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently lead complex events with minimal supervision. Schedule: This position does not have a set weekly schedule or guaranteed hours.
Shifts are assigned based on the Museum's event calendar, and candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of days, evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. What You’ll Accomplish Lead Exceptional Guest Experiences: Serve as the Museum's onsite leader for assigned events, ensuring seamless execution, outstanding hospitality, and a consistently high-quality experience for clients, guests, vendors, and stakeholders.

Coordinate and Execute Social Events: Lead the operational execution of weddings, mitzvahs, galas, donor events, and other social celebrations, serving as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors throughout the event lifecycle and onsite execution.
