Position Overview Woolpert is hiring a GeoBase Senior GIS Analyst to work at Lackland Air Force Base (AFB) in San Antonio, Texas. This is an on-site role with a schedule of 4 days working at the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) on Lackland AFB and 1 day working remotely.

GeoBase Senior GIS Analyst will be part of a dynamic fast-paced team supporting United States Department of the Air Force (DAF) installations for the DAF GeoBase Program.

What You Will Do

: As a GeoBase Senior GIS Analyst at Woolpert, you will: Create and maintain Air Force Civil Engineering GIS data in an enterprise environment, managing a versioned, multi-user geodatabase Create, update, and produce a variety of installation, range, and vicinity maps, drawings, plans, and other graphic representations using cartographic techniques to represent spatial data Perform regular and frequent data updates in coordination with analysts or government personnel located at DAF installations and other locations Coordinate and execute GIS data requests and submissions to authorized stakeholders and mission partners, including disaster response and emergency mapping and analysis support Perform data quality assurance and control, ensuring compliance with Air Force and Department of Defense geospatial data standards Create and maintain installation and AF enterprise geospatial metadata Migrate or convert legacy GIS, CAD, non-spatial, and tabular data to GeoBase standards Maintain data for archival storage, record keeping, and inventory of source data and maps Perform complex GIS data analysis, extraction (digitization), and geocoding processes Effectively integrate and utilize geospatial imagery, LiDAR, survey, and field collected data in the GeoBase enterprise Work closely with end users in the Air Force installation GeoBase offices and other base organizations to support GIS
