Part Time / Full Time Nanny (Special Needs Experience Required) – Cambridge, ON A family near Churchill Park in Cambridge, ON is seeking a patient, warm, and reliable nanny to care for their two young children: a 2-year-old son and a 3-year-old daughter who has cerebral palsy. This is a meaningful, ongoing role with a family that values consistency and genuine connection. Their daughter is in high needs and requires attentive, knowledgeable care.

They’re looking for someone who is comfortable and confident supporting children with complex physical needs, and who will engage both children with energy, creativity, and warmth. Schedule: Total Hours: Approximately 30 hours per week Core Hours: Weekday afternoons, 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM Optional Expanded Hours: Open to expanding hours for the right candidate, including: Weekday mornings before school drop-off Later weekday evenings Weekend shifts A flexible and collaborative approach to scheduling is important to us, with a focus on a long-term position to grow with our family over multiple years.

Responsibilities

: Pick up both children from school and daycare each weekday afternoon (family vehicle provided) Safely transfer and load daughter's wheelchair in and out of the vehicle Prepare and serve meals and snacks for both children Administer g-tube feedings for our daughter following family protocols Support and encourage use of daughter's eye gaze communication device Assist with positioning, transfers, and use of specialized seating supports Engage both children in age-appropriate play, activities, and reading Maintain a safe, tidy, and nurturing home environment during care hours Communicate daily with parents regarding children's meals, mood, and activities

Compensation

: $25-$30 per hour All candidates will be subject to a background check. This position requires proof of legal authorization to work in Canada.
