Flourish with us. 60 per hour Broadmead is seeking a dependable and compassionate Transportation Associate to safely transport residents to and from Broadmead for events, appointments, and meals. This role involves assisting residents who use wheelchairs and rollators while ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Provide safe, courteous transportation for Broadmead residents and staff. Ensure resident safety is the top priority during all transportation activities. Assist residents when entering and exiting vehicles, including buses.
Operate wheelchair lifts for residents requiring mobility assistance. Respond calmly and appropriately in emergency situations while off-site. Recognize and respond to residents who may become ill while away from Broadmead.
Make recommendations related to vehicle maintenance, upkeep, emissions testing, and service needs. Be available to work evenings and weekends as needed. Provide back-up assistance at the Reception Desk when not driving, including: Greeting and assisting residents and visitors Delivering packages Helping with resident cart rides Distributing Holly House keys Delivering newspapers and mail to Hallowell and Taylor Halls Why Join Broadmead?
