Junior Maintenance Technician

In a nutshell As a technician at Picnic, you will be part of our internal maintenance team and contribute to the smooth operation of our Material Handling Equipment. We will teach you everything about maintenance and troubleshooting, while giving you the freedom to share your ideas and help improve processes. You will grow quickly, take initiative, and help build the technology of the future.

Together, we ensure that thousands of orders are delivered smoothly every day. The Fulfilment Center is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Together with the other technicians, you will work rotating shifts according to a 5-shift schedule, ensuring that a skilled technician is always available.

Responsibilities

: Solving and preventing breakdowns: You tackle technical issues and ensure they do not happen again; Staying ahead of problems: You identify early signs of potential failures and take action before they cause disruptions; Preventive maintenance: You carry out preventive maintenance to ensure our machines keep running at all times; Continuous improvement: You implement ongoing improvements to ensure our automated systems operate at their optimal level. About you.. You have a technical diploma at MBO level 3 or higher; You have 0–2 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role; You are interested in working with software tools and dashboards; You communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team; You are proactive, eager to learn, and enjoy finding creative solutions to technical challenges.
