Responsibilities
: Direct daily activities of the survey crew in the field. Operate GPS, total stations, and data collectors to gather accurate field data. Ensure survey data quality and field notes are complete and accurate.
Interpret construction plans, boundary documents, and topographic mapping. Determine project team makeup and assign workloads. Conduct project kick-off meetings to communicate and obtain agreement on project schedules.
Communicate daily with office staff and project managers. Maintain safety standards and promote a safety-first crew environment Train junior crew members and support their development. Manage and maintain survey equipment and supplies.
