POSITION SUMMARY AccuWeather is seeking an experienced HR Manager, Employee Relations & Compliance, to join its growing Human Resources team. In this strategic and hands-on role, you will serve as a trusted HR business partner to managers and division leaders — providing expert guidance across employee relations, performance management, compliance, employee engagement, onboarding and offboarding, leave administration, and HR analytics. You will play a central role in cultivating a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace by combining data-driven insights with thoughtful people practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic HR Partnership Partner with department and division leaders to provide proactive guidance on employee relations, performance management, policy interpretation, and workforce strategy. Serve as a credible, accessible HR advisor who builds trusted relationships across all levels of the organization. Employee Relations & Performance Management Lead workplace investigations, address employee concerns, and facilitate disciplinary action processes in close collaboration with management.
Manage the annual performance review cycle and serve as system administrator and project manager for the Company's performance management platform. Compliance & Regulatory Programs Administer leave and accommodation programs — including FMLA and ADA processes — ensuring full compliance and timely, empathetic communication with employees and managers. Manage all required compliance reporting and HR programs, including OSHA 300, Affirmative Action Plans (AAP), VETS-4212, EEO-1, California Pay Data Reporting, DOL wage surveys, and I-9/E-Verify administration.
Administer harassment prevention and compliance training programs; serve as system administrator for the compliance training platform. Onboarding, Offboarding & Employee Engagement Coordinate onboarding activities for new hires and manage offboarding processes, including involuntary separations and voluntary exit interviews. Champion employee recognition and engagement by overseeing programs such as annual performance excellence awards, years-of-service recognition, spot awards, and Team Member of the Quarter.
Support employee events and culture initiatives that foster connection, belonging, and organizational pride. HR Analytics & Continuous Improvement Compile, analyze, and distribute HR metrics and divisional dashboard reports; identify trends and recommend actionable solutions to strengthen organizational effectiveness. Leverage AI tools and HR technology to enhance workflow efficiency, automate routine processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Travel to other office locations as needed to provide in-person HR support and deepen relationships with leaders and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field. 5–8+ years of progressive HR generalist experience with a strong emphasis on employee relations, compliance, and performance management. Demonstrated experience conducting workplace investigations and managing complex employee relations matters.
Thorough working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, EEO, and wage and hour
Requirements
Experience administering HRIS and performance management systems. Exceptional facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical capabilities with experience compiling and interpreting HR metrics and reports to drive program improvements.
High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity when handling confidential information. Demonstrated proficiency with AI tools and platforms — including the ability to leverage AI to enhance productivity, streamline HR workflows, and inform data-driven decisions.
