We are adding to staff and hiring a Facilities Specialist to join our team in our Midtown Manhattan offices.

This is a new role on our service-oriented Facilities team that works onsite 5 days a week to meet the needs of employees across 9 floors. Our Facilities team is proud of the work we do in keeping our facilities safe and clean for all employees and guests. We value people and team-building skills and can anticipate needs before they arise.

What You Will Do

: Perform daily walkthroughs of the space to identify problems such as but not limited to: spills/trash, lighting issues, smells, missing nameplates, and property damage. Assist the Associate Manager of Facilities in facilities maintenance and operations. Manage all terrace landscaping, beverage machines, snacks/breakfasts, along with ordering inventory and supplies associated.

Restock the kitchen regularly, wipe counters and tables, remove trash, clean high-touch areas like fridge handles and microwaves. Coordinate set up and break down for events and happy hours. Deliver mail and packages.

Oversee vendor work and request/manage COIs. Execute office and desk moves. Perform minor carpentry repairs like patch/paint as well as installations of artwork and bulletin boards, shelving, etc.

Compensation

45/hour upon hire. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role.
