QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience as an engineering technician or skilled‑trade professional in manufacturing Experience in metal fabrication environments (stamping, forming, buffing/sanding, press operations, CNC, etc.) Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and basic controls issues Familiarity with preventive maintenance routines, work orders, and lockout/tagout procedures Ability to read engineering drawings, BOMs, and standard operating procedures Capable of performing basic time studies and collecting shift‑level data (cycle time, scrap, downtime) Strong written documentation skills for logs, downtime reporting, and handoff notes Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and comfort using shop‑floor tablets and ERP/MES systems Self‑directed and able
