The Construction Global Supply Chain Analysts role i s to ensure construction projects have the contractors, equipment, materials, and services they need to stay on schedule and within budget. Job Summary: The Construction Global Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the sourcing, procurement, and supplier management activities required to successfully execute construction and capital projects.
This role partners closely with construction project managers, engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and finance departments to ensure materials, equipment, and services are procured efficiently, delivered on time, and aligned with project budgets and schedules. The analyst manages purchase orders, evaluates supplier quotations, supports contractor onboarding, tracks supplier performance, resolves procurement issues, and provides analytical support to drive informed sourcing decisions. Success in this role requires strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment while contributing to cost savings, risk mitigation, and successful project execution.
Responsibilities
: Managing purchase orders (POs) for construction projects. Creating and evaluating RFQs (Requests for Quotation) from contractors and suppliers. Supporting sourcing and procurement decisions for construction materials, equipment, and services.
Onboarding and developing new suppliers and contractors. Tracking supplier performance and delivery timelines to avoid project delays. Working with engineering, project managers, cost controls, and contractors to resolve procurement issues.
Supporting change orders, RFIs, contract reviews, and project closeout activities. Analyzing data and reporting project spending and procurement status.
Preferred Qualifications
