Role Impact and Summary This role is within Wavemaker , a leading brand within WPP Media, where you will be instrumental in positively provoking growth for clients by reshaping consumer decision-making and experiences through media, content, and technology.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS In three months: • Mastered client management skills, delivering superior service and output for accounts handled • Learned the basic media planning and optimization and analytics skills • Managed to handle projects/executions independently • Achieved a clear grasp of the ins and outs of the accounts handled • Established a good working relationship with key stakeholders (internal and client teams) • Proposed process improvements as needed In six months: • Identified new opportunity to grow business handled • Mapped out the relevant account playbooks to ensure that handling of the accounts is of good standard • Set internal KPIs for accounts managed • Have full accountability on the revenue targets set for your accounts In twelve months: • Have majorly contributed to the successful launch of the brands handled • Achieved 100% of revenue targets set for your accounts • Proposed and acquired new sources of revenue to help achieve the annual targets of the Interaction team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
OF THE ROLE • Primary point of contact for account assignments • Acquires, understands/processes and cascades briefs received from clients • Works with strategists and specialists to ensure that the output of the agency meet or exceed client expectations • Presents, defends or justifies, alongside strategists and specialists, the output of the agency • Drives and captures agreements during meetings • Ensures that smooth relationship is maintained with the different stakeholders of the assigned accounts • Senior Precision Planner who ensures that deliverables for clients are met on time, in scope and within agreed upon costs • Manages projects pre, during and after campaign • Ensures that hours rendered by the team members are compensated for • Diligently monitors achievement of revenue targets and account receivables/payables • Performs administrative work, as required, to manage the business • Looks after the interests of the account • Has an excellent understanding of the accounts/brands being handled • Has a good grasp of the competitive landscape where the accounts/brands are playing in • Diligently studies the consumer and digital landscape relevant to the business of the assigned accounts/brands • Proactively shares “opportunities to win” to assigned accounts/brands • Looks after the interests of the agency • Spots opportunities for business growth • Protects agency intellectual property for services rendered • Ensures smooth relationship between the agency and client • Goes the “extra mile” to deliver the expectations of clients Skills and Experience Education Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree, preferably of a business or research-related course Work Experience At least 3-4 year’s work experience in a digital media function Required Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) • Experience in advertising, public relations/communications, marke
