Job Title: Main Grade Lecturer - Carpentry & Joinery Department: Sustainable Construction and Building Services Salary: £34,789 - £43,394 per year Job Type: Full time, permanent, 35 hours per week The main aim of this role it to work with the wider Construction department to achieve excellence in teaching, learning and assessment through innovative and excellent practice. You will be expected to create effective and stimulating learning opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment. You will deliver outstanding teaching and learning on all levels; from L1 through to L3.

You will also deliver evening programmes and offer a wide range of current and relevant industry/practitioner skills. You will be able to teach a large scope of skills and will possess carpentry & joinery; theory, practical and assessing skills as well as be able to promote innovative work and assist in the development of the carpentry & joinery curriculum. You will create and maintain effective and stimulating opportunities for all students through high quality teaching, learning and assessment that enable progression and development in all aspects of their College experience.
