We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our growing team. As a Licensed Veterinary Technician, you'll play an integral role in delivering exceptional patient care while supporting our veterinarians, clients, and fellow team members.
Responsibilities
will include: Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, laboratory procedures, and other technical nursing skills within your credentialed scope of practice Monitor hospitalized patients and provide compassionate nursing care Administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Safely handle and restrain dogs, cats, and exotic pets (experience with exotics is a plus) Process laboratory samples and maintain accurate medical records Educate clients on medications, preventive care, prescription diets, wellness plans, and discharge instructions Reinforce veterinarian recommendations and promote exceptional client communication Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked treatment area, pharmacy, exam rooms, and patient wards Clean, sterilize, and maintain medical instruments and equipment Collaborate with doctors, technicians, assistants, and client service representatives to provide outstanding patient care Perform additional duties as needed to support the hospital and patient care This description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of
