Construction Inspector (Sewer Infrastructure)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Techno is seeking a Construction Inspector to support a high-profile underground utility and infrastructure improvement project in the Baltimore area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team delivering essential public infrastructure that will have a lasting impact on the community. Inspect sewer line installation and related utility construction activities.

Monitor contractor performance and verify compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Document daily construction activities, site conditions, workforce, equipment, and quantities installed. Identify, document, and communicate construction deficiencies or non-conforming work.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to support project progress. Review excavation operations, trench safety measures, utility installations, and site restoration activities. Prepare detailed daily inspection reports and maintain accurate project documentation.

Attend project meetings and provide updates regarding construction progress, quality, and safety observations.

QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of construction inspection experience on civil infrastructure, utility, water, wastewater, or sewer projects. Experience inspecting underground utility installations, sewer mains, force mains, or pipeline construction. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Strong written communication and documentation skills.
