About The Role
The Electrician - Interior position performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. What You'll Be Doing Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as exterior lighting / circuits, generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment; working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications.
Requirements
of wiring or electrical equipment. Using a variety of electrician's hand tools and measuring and testing instruments. Will be responsible for working with vendors to procure quotes for replacement parts and equipment, will also be responsible for the proper documentation of work performed and materials used.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
What We'Re Looking For
In general, the work of the maintenance electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience. Must have a minimum of six (6) years journey-level experience and have completed a formal apprenticeship or equivalent formal vocational/technical training program on industrial electrical systems. Each complete year of accredited college education in a related field may be substituted for the equivalent number of years of required experience.
Must maintain required city/county/state license(s) and/or certification(s), where applicable. Must be able to operate and work from various lifts and bucket trucks. Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
Must maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position. Must possess the ability to work in a high-volume office area and interface in a positive manner with co-workers and the customer. Must possess the ability to work in a team or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
Performs all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives. Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with internal and external customers, coworkers, and management. Accurately maintains and updates records to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information.
Ability to work independently. Ability to speak, read, and write English. Must possess the ability to interact well with others in a team setting ability or alone and be able to change jobs on short notice.
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities. Highly motivated, flexible organized and must be detail oriented.
