About The Role

: Successful navigation of the policy landscape is critical to deploying and scaling a business. S. State and Local markets.

Our team works closely with lawmakers, regulatory bodies, trade associations, industry experts and others to proactively engage in initiatives that advance Samsara’s business interests. Internally, our efforts support innovative work across the business, including the engineering, product, strategy, legal, and partnerships teams. The ideal candidate will enjoy serving as a key contributor on a diverse range of substantive advocacy initiatives, aid in identifying opportunities for sales enablement and engagement, developing creative strategies and content, and representing Samsara externally to key stakeholders in state and local government and allied third parties.

Identify and track proposed bills, regulations, and policy positions at the state and municipal levels that are relevant to Samsara, assessing their potential impact, developing strategies for engagement, and keeping the business informed.
