ABOUT THE JOB We are looking for a Space Operations Lead to join our rapidly growing team in Costa Mesa, CA, to drive operational excellence across our space program. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, production, and business development to design scalable processes, optimize growth systems, and deliver data-driven insights that accelerate mission delivery. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Partner cross-functionally with Business Development, Engineering, and Corporate Operations to refine strategic planning and mission objectives, ensuring seamless integration of space payload capabilities to meet aggressive growth targets. , Salesforce), championing data integrity and governance standards, and supporting growth leads in refining forecasts and business opportunities. Analyze technical pipeline data, payload performance metrics, and space market trends to surface actionable insights, enabling data-backed decisions for mission planning and technology roadmaps.
Develop business cases for new investment opportunities to meet P&L targets and ensure adequate resourcing. Own the translation of sales pipeline demand into short- and long-term planning across Operations, People, Production, Real Estate, Corporate Technology, and Finance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in operations, program management, or strategy within a high-growth aerospace, defense, or space technology company. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
