We have been certified as a Great Place To Work®, and named one of BuiltIn's Best Places to Work for the seventh year in a row! The Business Development Representative (BDR) team operates as the front line of LogicMonitor’s go-to-market strategy, representing the first impression of our brand and the standard of excellence in how we engage the market. This is not a traditional prospecting role: this is a high-performance, AI-driven function designed to create strategic pipeline through precision, relevance, and disciplined execution.
Here's a closer look at this key role: As a BDR, you are responsible for identifying and qualifying high-value opportunities within our ideal customer profile by leading with business acumen, not volume. You will leverage an AI-first approach to accelerate account understanding, sharpen messaging, and prioritize where to invest your time using technology to enhance judgment, not replace it. AI is embedded across your workflow: from rapidly synthesizing account and industry insights, to generating first-pass messaging frameworks, to scaling personalized outreach with consistency and quality.
Outbound Prospecting Generate Sales Opportunities: Identify and qualify high-value prospects using AI-driven insights and signals to create strategic pipeline opportunities for the sales team. Qualify Prospects: Assess fit by asking key qualifying questions, supported by AI-generated account context and recommendations to better understand client needs, challenges, and timelines. Campaign Execution: Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to develop and execute targeted outbound campaigns.
Engagement Follow-Up: Maintain proactive communication with prospects, leveraging AI to personalize outreach at scale while delivering relevant, high-quality messaging that advances conversations. Internal Collaboration Insights Sharing: Serve as a key resource by sharing best practices, competitive intelligence, and product updates with internal teams. Performance Tracking Reporting: Participate in weekly and monthly sales meetings, using data and analytics to provide updates on achievements, business plans, and quota progress.
What You'll Need: Bachelor’s degree or 1+ years of outbound sales experience.
