CORPORATE COUNSEL Remote, US JOB OVERVIEW Legion is seeking a Corporate Counsel to provide legal support across various functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract review and negotiation, privacy and data protection rules. Reporting to the General Counsel, the Corporate Counsel will play a crucial role in helping to propel the business, promoting legal compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting the company's strategic objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

AND DUTIES Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including software licensing agreements, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, and partnership agreements. Provide legal guidance and support to various departments, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to promote compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to advise the company on legal and regulatory matters affecting its business operations. Collaborate with external legal counsel on specialized legal matters, litigation, and other legal matters as needed. Assist in corporate governance matters, including entity formation, corporate restructuring, and maintenance of corporate records.

Support the General Counsel and senior leadership team on special projects and initiatives as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. 2-4 years of experience practicing law, preferably both in a corporate legal department and also in a law firm environment. Strong knowledge of contract law, commercial transactions, and intellectual property law.

Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills with meticulous attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and provide practical legal advice.

Experience in the technology industry or with SaaS products is preferred but not required. High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.

Salary Range: Base Salary Range $250,000 - $300,000 + Bonus + Stock At Legion, we offer competitive
