Job Summary This role involves operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, locate , relocate, and stack materials within the warehouse or production facility.
The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations , inventory mana gement, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety guidelines and company procedures . Load and unload trucks, ensuring accuracy in material handling and placement . Transport materials and products to designated areas within the warehouse or production facility .
Move and load raw materials and finished products as required . Maintain accurate records of inventory movements using scanning systems or manual logs . Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues promptly .
Assist in inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock management tasks . Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free of hazards . Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
Skills Valid forklift operator certification/license (or willingness to obtain one) . Proven experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment . Knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving procedures .
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs ) as required . Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions . Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and record-keeping .
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities . Excellent teamwork and communication skills Work Environment Warehouse and production setting . Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and industrial equipment .
