Job Title: Facilities Logistics Assistant Department: Estates Salary: £25,299 to £26,812 per annum Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week) Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Logistics Assistant is responsible for providing operational and logistical support across the College estate. The Courier is responsible for providing a safe, reliable and efficient transport and delivery service across all College sites. The role primarily supports College Catering Services through the collection and transportation of food, supplies and equipment between campuses, ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time.
The postholder will also support the wider College through the transportation of mail, packages, documents, furniture and equipment, whilst maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism. During periods of reduced courier demand, the postholder will support the Estates team with general operational activities appropriate to the grade of the role.
Requirements
Work closely with Catering Department Leads to coordinate food deliveries and support the effective operation of catering services across all College sites. Collect, transport and deliver mail, packages, documents, equipment and materials between College sites in a safe, timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections and vehicle usage.
Ensure the College vehicle is maintained in a clean, tidy and roadworthy condition, carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting defects promptly.

Ensure all College vehicles are secured, parked safely and operated in accordance with College policies and road traffic legislation.
