Plessey are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our high-tech manufacturing site, on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will join a small but established Warehouse Team, supporting all aspects of inbound and outbound logistics. In this role, you will play a key part in managing materials and ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the business to support our manufacturing operations.

Receive, inspect, and accurately record inbound deliveries in SAP. Resolve delivery discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods with suppliers and Procurement. Ensure safe handling, storage, and movement of materials, including hazardous substances.

Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently. Coordinate with internal teams to route materials correctly and provide required documentation. Issue stock accurately and maintain reliable stores and inventory records.

Support stock counts and investigate inventory discrepancies. Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) license. Experience in a manufacturing warehouse environment.

Strong communication skills and a positive, team‑focused approach. High attention to detail and accuracy. IT literate, ideally with experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
