Aspire Allergy & Sinus — Austin, Texas
Aspire Allergy & Sinus is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented candidate to join our team as a Compounding Pharmacy Technician in our on-site allergy lab. This Non-retail pharmacy technician position will support Aspire's internal medical providers and patients across the nation by compounding a variety of unique/patient-specific allergy treatments. Candidates must work well independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Location 5929 Balcones Dr #200, Austin, TX 78731 Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8AM -5 PM Friday: 8AM- 12PM Half-days! Use of compounding equipment to combine allergen mixtures into the appropriate dosage as listed in the corresponding prescription Use our custom prescription tracking software and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) to track prescriptions and update/maintain patient account information Collaborate with our patient services and clinical staff to ensure patient satisfaction Ensure a safe and clean environment by setting up and sanitizing your workstation Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for preparation of compounds Monitor and maintain compounding equipment Assist with packing and shipping patient outbound packages Use an automated shipping system to coordinate shipments and track packages Assist with maintaining inventory levels for raw production materials and shipping supplies Take part in relevant training as well as educational programs Follow all HIPAA rules and regulations including confidentiality of patient information A detailed oriented individual with a positive attitude who enjoys a challenging environment A focused work ethic Strong knowledge of standards and all relevant USP compounding guidelines is a plus Must be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment Proficient with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Prescription Management software systems and standard office equipment.
Requirements
