Mid-Level Practitioner (ABA)

Responsibilities

: The Mid-Level Practitioner (MLP) plays a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. This position works under the supervision of a BCBA to provide direct treatment, assist in clinical programming, and support the training and development of Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). The MLP supports learner progress by implementing treatment plans, assisting with assessments, and ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery across assigned caseloads.

This role also partners closely with clinical, scheduling, and operations teams to ensure effective service coordination and authorization utilization.

: Skills/Abilities Strong understanding of ABA principles and intervention strategies Ability to implement treatment plans with consistency and fidelity Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to coach, guide, and support BT/RBT staff Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to analyze data and support clinical decision-making Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with electronic health records (CentralReach preferred) Education Experience Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or related field required Minimum of 1–2+ years of experience implementing behavior intervention services Completion of at least 12 semester credit hours in behavior analysis or related coursework (or equivalent BCaBA coursework) Active RBT certification preferred , not required Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred Experience supporting, training, or mentoring staff preferred Additional
