The Role The Senior Manager of Finance Operations leads the Finance Operations organization responsible for maintaining accurate operational and financial data across the business. This team owns the operational source of truth for money movement through the marketplace, including time attendance and rates, invoicing and billing, collections, and operational exceptions. Working closely with R D, Payroll, Finance, Revenue, Strategy, and Operations, the role is responsible for improving automation, strengthening controls, and ensuring finance operations processes scale efficiently while supporting payroll, invoicing billing, collections, gross profit, revenue, and financial reporting.
What you’ll be doing Lead, develop, and manage Finance Operations leaders and teams responsible for Finance Operations, Billing, and Accounts Receivable. Set the strategy, operating model, and priorities for the Finance Operations organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term scalability. Own the end-to-end reconciliation process for completed shifts, ensuring time attendance, rates, invoicing, billing, collections, agency settlement, and financial reporting data are accurate and aligned.
Own the operational inputs to revenue, gross profit, accounts receivable, and bad debt reporting, ensuring financial data is complete, accurate, and flows correctly into downstream accounting and reporting systems. Own operational service levels and performance metrics across finance operations workflows, including accuracy, automation, exception management, and stakeholder experience. Partner closely with R D leadership to improve product workflows, automate operational processes, and continuously reduce manual work through process redesign and product improvements.
Lead the investigation and resolution of the most complex reconciliation issues, escalations, agency queries, and operational exceptions.
Requirements
, ensure finance operations processes are scalable, and flag client payment or overtrading risks. Oversee billing, invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections operations, ensuring processes are accurate, timely, scalable, and supported by appropriate controls. Own credit management, collections performance, aged debt reduction, bad debt recommendations, and write-off approvals in accordance with company policy.
Lead weekly AR ledger and overtrading reviews, ensuring potential payment issues are identified, escalated, and addressed with Revenue leadership. Partner with FP A, Controllership, and Finance leadership during month-end close, P L reviews, bad debt provisioning, and financial performance analysis. Partner closely with Payroll leadership to ensure reconciled operational data supports accurate and efficient payroll processing.

Proven experience leading multiple finance operations, billing, accounts receivable, revenue operations, or similar operational finance functions.
